Early Pregnancy Symptoms

How you wish you could watch your man’s sperm crawling in your uterine tract, joining hands with your ovum and see through the incredible process of fertilization and forming of your baby?! Unfortunately, our bodies are not designed to be looked at what happens inside. Yet, if you can closely listen to the cues your body gives, you must be able to detect some of the early signs of pregnancy we have listed out.

Cramps during pregnancy are common in first trimester. It is a mild to severe pain felt in the abdominal region or legs. Pregnant mothers describe cramping as a tight contraction of muscles of the abdomen, similar to a period pain. It can be sharp, uncomfortable or may feel like the pelvis dragging down of heaviness. To alleviate mild cramps, try a warm water bath to soothe the stretching muscles, change the position and try mild warm-up exercises.

Morning Sickness

Nausea and vomiting are the most common symptoms of morning sickness. Nausea is an uneasy feeling of stomach discomfort combined with the sensation to vomit. To get relieved from morning sickness, have smaller meals frequently instead of three heavy meals in a day, closely watch what kind of foods trigger nausea and try to reduce or completely avoid them until you feel alright, try to munch nuts, or other healthy snacks in between the big meal times without making your stomach empty, avoid spicy foods as they can irritate your bowels and avoid fatty foods which can slow down digestion.

Cramps, fatigue, morning sickness, leg cramps, swollen feet and restless leg syndrome are some of the common symptoms that bother women during pregnancies. We detail the causes, remedies and when to call the doctor for more than a dozen pregnancy symptoms in our articles.
